Venue: Bakerview Church, Abbotsford BC
An orchestra concert featuring 12 young soloists from the Abbotsford area, accompanied by the Abbotsford Youth Orchestra and the Canada West Chamber Orchestra. Anyone studying with a teacher from BCRMTA (Abbotsford) may apply. Any student between grade 1 and ARCT may apply, but priority will be given to those students playing “shorter pieces” so that more students may have an opportunity to perform. Ideal length is 1 min. to 5 min.

See List 1 and List 2 for repertoire for which orchestral accompaniment is currently available. However, this is NOT an Exclusive List. You may choose a piece that is not on the list, and if your piece is chosen, we will arrange to have an accompaniment written for you.
Please audition with the piece that you want to play with orchestra. Please provide 3 copies of the piece for the audition committee. Note: the copies do not need to be originals, but may be photocopies.
